"I'd Really Love to See You Tonight" was first released by England Dan and John Ford Coley in 1976. It was later covered by Barry Manilow, who also created an up-tempo remix version. The inspiration for our track is Barry's remix. This thing dances for days!
The song packages includes four instrumental tracks, music with and without the melody line, each with or without the background vocals, along with the sample vocal track and cue sheets in multiple file formats. "NM" in a file name indicates "no melody."

Bonus Release!! CHIC-4069 - Blowin' the Stars Around (Extended Patter)
"Blowin' the Stars Around" is an extended patter mix of the singing call "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight." The music danced so well, we just had to make a track for patter. We took what was great from the singer and then added exra "bonus" material for the extended patter. Percussion breaks, and a killer electric guitar are just two examples of the "extras." The music sample below captures just a piece of the many flavors of this extended patter release.
